Moment has worked on various projects for Virgin Mobile. Our initial focus involved redesigning the global gateway for selecting a country site to better reflect the diversity of the Virgin Mobile brand in each country. Following that effort, Moment was asked to conduct a heuristic audit and conduct usability testing for the current Virgin Mobile U.S. web site, and make recommendations for customer experience improvements throughout the site.
As these recommendations were being implemented, Virgin Mobile decided to introduce a new line of 3G phones, featuring faster download performance and high-quality games and ringtones. To add this new product line, the web site and phone interface had to be restructured to accommodate new and different types of content for what they had dubbed VirginXL. We delivered a rich-media module called the Stylin’ Game that simplifies user selection of a “way to pay as you go.”
