After our success with the style guide for Marsh, Guy Carpenter, another MMC company, engaged us to provide design standards for their diverse suite of sites and applications.
Though Guy Carpenter was part of the MMC family of companies and needed to borrow heavily from the standards we developed elsewhere, we recognised that Guy Carpenter also had its own unique requirements. We could not blindly apply the standards from another business and expect them to work, we needed to design something appropriate for Guy Carpenter.
We were able to create a set of standards that were clearly aligned with the other MMC companies, yet provided the elements necessary to develop appropriate applications for Guy Carpenter.
