How do you sell a pair of $1000 shoes online and how do you do it in a “Gucci” way?
At the time Moment was engaged, Gucci had a successful brand site, but the all Flash site did not provide for a good shopping experience. Gucci asked Moment to help rearchitect Gucci.com to increase online sales while preserving their strong visual brand language.
We conducted extensive participatory design exercises with Gucci customers to evaluate and improve our design and created an extensive, standards-compliant set of HTML and CSS templates that integrated Flash as a module to preserve the existing design language, with its languid, cinematic characteristics.
